Abstract:
An engagement space (44) is formed so as to accommodate, in the closed state of a slide fastener (10), a connection portion (43) of an adjacent slide fastener element (40) that is attached to an opposing stringer of the slide fastener (10). Leg portions (42) are each provided with a plurality of string engagement protrusions (47, 48, 49) that protrude toward the opposite leg portion (42). Each of the leg portions (42) has a thickness (T42) in the length direction that is greater than the thickness (T50) in the length direction of base portions (50).
