Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a smart shopping cart. The smart shopping cart comprises: a cart configured to receive shopping items; first image sensors installed on the cart and configured to collect image data of the shopping items being placed in or taken out of the cart and to transmit the image data to a central server; additional second image sensors configured to capture an image of a display rack; an electric scale installed on the cart and configured to measure the weight of the cart loaded with the shopping items and to transmit the weight to the central server; and a cart terminal installed on the cart and configured to receive product information of the shopping items, transferred from the central server as a result of having recognized the shopping items on the basis of the image data of the shopping items, the weight of the cart, and incoming/outgoing information of items on the display rack, and to display a list of the shopping items.
