Abstract:
A solid state polymer fuel cell (10) includes: a polymer electrolyte film (20); an electrode catalyst layer (90c) arranged on one of the surfaces of the polymer electrolyte film (20); a separator (80c) having electric conductivity and cutting off a gas; and an electrode member (50c) which is arranged between the electrode catalyst layer (90c) and the separator (80c) so as to form an electrode together with the electrode catalyst layer (90c). The electrode member (50c) has a first contact portion (111) which is brought into a direct contact with the electrode catalyst layer (90c), a second contact portion (112) which is brought into a direct contact with the separator (80c), and a gas diffusion path (121) through which the gas flows. Furthermore, the electrode member (50c) is formed by a conductive corrugated plate member (100) having a plenty of pores (131) formed therein.
