Abstract:
A solvent system capable of effectively dissolving ornidazole or levornidazole, and an application thereof. ornidazole or levornidazole is an active ingredient, and the solvent system is a mixed short chain polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol organic solvent; the short-chain polyethylene glycol is preferably polyethylene glycol 300 and/or polyethylene glycol 400. The solvent system can be used in the preparation of an injection fluid for ornidazole or an injection fluid for levornidazole. The ornidazole injection fluid or the levornidazole injection fluid have advantageous qualities such as being simpler to prescribe and safer to produce, the prepared products being more stable, not easily crystallizing at low temperatures, less solvent being needed, impurity (particularly genotoxic impurities) content being lower, phlebitis incidence being low, being without low pH infusion irritation, and being more suitable for use by a disulfiram reaction-sensitive patient, ensuring greater safety in clinical medication and better patient medication adherence.
