Abstract:
The present invention relates to a construction member used to construct a building, such as an interior/exterior material, a window/door material, and partitioning walls, and more particularly, to a multifunctional sound absorbing material for construction used for effectively insulating acoustic noise generated from indoors, which promotes a superior sound insulation effect and improvement in the quality of indoor reverberating noise, improves the indoor air environment, and has an excellent design. The sound absorbing material of the present invention comprises: a frame formed so as to have a certain outer shape; a spacing material dividing the inside of the frame into a plurality of unit cells; a front plate being attached to one side of the frame so as to block one side of the unit cells divided by the spacing material, and having a plurality of through-holes formed therein so as to enable the unit cells to spatially communicate with the exterior space; a reverse side material attached to the side of the frame which is opposite the side on which the front plate is attached, and blocking the unit cells divided by the spacing material so that the unit cells have a certain space; and a charcoal sound absorbing material being a charcoal ingredient that is housed inside the unit cells divided by the spacing material, so as to absorb sound entering by means of the through-holes.
