Title:
SPACER FOR HEAT EXCHANGE DUCT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/073294
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a spacer for a heat exchange duct, which is capable of obtaining the same function as when a fin is attached without attaching any fin outside a duct in a geothermal heat exchange well also serving as a drain as a measure to counter liquefaction or soft ground in Japanese Patent Application No. 2011-180026. [Solution] A spacer for a heat exchange duct has a tubular structure which has a space for housing a heat exchange duct therein and to which plate-shaped ribs or rod-shaped studs are attached toward the inside thereof such that the duct is properly housed in the space. The ribs or studs provided in the tubular spacer are in contact with the duct housed in the tubular spacer, thereby making it possible not only to reliably fasten the duct in the tubular spacer but also to improve heat exchange efficiency inside and outside the duct by the propagation of heat via the ribs or studs, and moreover the generation of convection is stimulated by securing a space for convection of water therein to thereby increase heat exchange capacity around the duct.
