Abstract:
Provided is a high-quality spiral-type acidic gas separation module which is obtained by winding a laminate that comprises an acidic gas separation layer having a facilitated transport membrane and which has no defect in the facilitated transport membrane. A spiral-type acidic gas separation module, wherein: the average of the fiber diameters of a feed gas passage member is 100 to 900μm; and on the surface that is one of the surfaces of an auxiliary supporting membrane constituting a porous supporter and that is opposite to the facilitated transport membrane side, the area ratio of recesses which are inscribed in hemispheres having diameters that are equal to or larger than three-quarters of the fiber diameter of the feed gas passage member is 50% or less.
