Abstract:
A stall sign detector of an axial flow compressor comprising a rotor provided
with a plurality of rotor blades, and a tubular casing provided oppositely to
the rotor blades to cover the outer circumference of the rotor further comprises
one or a plurality of pressure sensors provided at each of a plurality of positions
on the inner wall face of the casing in the circumferential direction, a device
for calculating an index (stall risk evaluation index) for evaluating stall
risk based on time series data detected by each pressure sensor, and a signal processor
for detecting a sign of stall based on the stall risk evaluation index obtained
in association with each pressure sensor. A stabilized, high precision (high
sensitivity) stall risk evaluation index essential for active stall control
is thereby attained, and a stabilized, high reliability engine control system
can be achieved.
