A standalone ice cube or beverage dispenser (100), comprising a housing (120), a water source, an icemaker (124), an ice storage box (126), and a cold water pipeline (130). The icemaker (124) may be mounted in the housing (120) downstream from the water source in order to receive water from the water source. The ice storage box (126) may be arranged in the housing (120) downstream from the icemaker in order to receive ice from the icemaker (124). The cold water pipeline (130) may be mounted in the housing (120), and defines a cold water outlet (136) downstream from the water source and fluidly isolated from the icemaker (124).
