Abstract:
A steering knuckle machining process, comprising: first clamping a steering knuckle workpiece (1) forwardly onto a center hole machining fixture for machining; clamping the steering knuckle workpiece (1) reversely onto a horizontal fixture for machining; and clamping the steering knuckle workpiece (1) laterally onto a lateral fixture for machining. According to the steering knuckle machining process, the steering knuckle workpiece (1) is subjected to forwards clamping, reverse clamping and lateral clamping by means of the three fixtures correspondingly. Different parts of the steering knuckle workpiece (1) are machined in sequence. The machining process is optimized. The tool changing frequency and the tool feeding time in the machining process of the steering knuckle workpiece (1) are reduced, and the working efficiency is improved.
