Abstract:
Disclosed is a steering wheel that enables reduction of the influence of vibration on a retention spring, with consideration given for mountability thereof. A retention spring 52 includes a pin locking portion 72 that is positioned inside a mounting hole 24 and locks a pin 41 of an air-bag module 3 such that the air-bag module 3 is installed on a metal core 2. A base portion 21 of the metal core 2 is provided with a spring attachment portion 90 to which the retention spring 52 is mounted. The spring attachment portion 90 includes a body pillar portion 91 protruding from a base face 21b of the base portion 21, and an extending portion 92 extending from the body pillar portion 91 with a base end side of the extending portion 92 being continuous from the body pillar portion 91. A mounting portion 71 of the retention spring 52 is positioned between the base face 21b and the extending portion 92, and is mounted so as to pinch the body pillar portion 91. The extending portion 92 constitutes a stopper for the retention spring 52 with respect to the attachment portion 71. A tip-end side of the extending portion 92 is not connected to the base portion 21.
