Title:
STEREOSCOPIC VIRTUAL IMAGE DISPLAY MODULE, STEREOSCOPIC VIRTUAL IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND MOBILE OBJECT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/195975
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A stereoscopic virtual image display module (11) capable of display switching between a three-dimensional image and a two-dimensional image includes a display panel (14), a first optical device set (19), and a second optical device (15). The display panel (14) has an active area from which image light is outputted. The first optical device set (19) visualizes a virtual image in the active area to a user by reflecting the image light to the user. The second optical device (15) changes or restricts the ray direction of the image light going from a first active area of the active area to the user via the first optical device set (19). The second optical device (15) puts first image light into a left eye (El) and puts second image light into a right eye (Er). The stereoscopic virtual image display module (11) is configured such that each of the eyes of the user is able to visualize the virtual image in the first active area at a first pixel density of 60 pixels or more per degree.
