Abstract:
A stranded conductor (1) at least has a plurality of copper-based strands (20) twisted together and, after being circularly compressed, is heat treated. The copper-based strands (20) have a Ni-based plated layer on the surface thereof. The stranded conductor (1) ideally has a conductor cross-sectional area of no more than 0.25 mm2. An insulated wire (5) has the stranded conductor (1) and an insulated body (4) coating the outer circumference of the stranded conductor (1).
