A strip-shaped lens (2) for use in an LED lamp and a wide-angle lamp. The lens comprises a body. The body is strip-shaped. The upper surface of a longitudinal section of the strip-shaped body is outwardly protruded to form an exit surface (21). A concave surface (23) is provided at the middle of the exit surface (21). The lower surface of the longitudinal section of the strip-shaped body is recessed at a position corresponding to the concave surface (23) to form an incidence cavity (24). The inner wall of the incidence cavity (24) serves as an incidence surface (22). By equipping an LED bulb (4) of the LED lamp with the strip-shaped lens, a light emitted by a light source arranged in the incidence cavity (24) of the lens can easily acquire an increased light distribution angle greater than 120 degrees by passing through the incidence surface (22) and being emitted from the protruding exit surface (21), where the light distribution angle usually reaches 150 degrees. Furthermore, the concave surface (23) at the middle of the exit surface (21) allows the light of the light source that originally concentrated at the middle to refract in all directions, thus enhancing the light emission angle and peripheral light intensity when the light source is provided with the strip-shaped lens (2) for light distribution.
