Abstract:
This switching power supply device is provided with: a power conversion circuit that is configured on a multilayer printed circuit board (10) and that comprises a plurality of switching circuit units and a control unit for controlling the plurality of switching circuit units; windings (L1, L2, L3) that are formed on the multilayer printed circuit board (10) and that constitute an inductor; and magnetic body sheets (11, 12) provided on one or both of the upper surface and the lower surface of the multilayer printed circuit board (10). First ends of the windings (L1, L2, L3) are connected to the plurality of switching circuit units, and second ends are connected to a shared output unit. The control unit controls the plurality of switching circuit units and uses magnetic flux generated as a result of current flowing through the windings (L1, L2, L3) to cause the position and the time at which the maximum magnetic flux density occurs to change periodically. This configuration makes it possible to obtain a switching power supply device in which the thickness is reduced, heat generation is distributed, it is possible to accommodate variation in the amount of power by changing the circuit board surface area, and unwanted radiation is effectively suppressed.
