Abstract:
A tank container comprising a container for a liquid to be stored or transported, a pipe circuit comprising a heat transfer part which is mounted to a wall of the container and which is filled with a heat transfer medium such as glycol, a cooling device designed for cooling the heat transfer medium, and a pump in the circuit for circulating the heat transfer medium, wherein an inlet of a second cooling device is incorporated in the pipe circuit upstream of the inlet of said cooling device, and wherein the outlet of the second cooling device is incorporated in the circuit upstream of the inlet of the heat transfer part, wherein the second cooling device has an operating temperature range that is at least partially higher than an operating temperature range of said first cooling device.
