The present invention relates to a taste masking formulation (10)comprising a core (11) containing a drug encased in a spacing layer (12) and a taste masking layer (13) which provides effective taste masking for in-mouth disintegratable dosage forms containing highly objectionable tasting drugs, as well as dosage forms containing these cores.
