Abstract:
The present invention provides a temperature control device that accurately indicates the temperature of a temperature adjustment block and achieves precise temperature control by causing a temperature measurement unit and a wire to reach a temperature equal to that of the temperature adjustment block. A temperature control device 1, which comprises a temperature adjustment block 2 that can accommodate a sample and/or a reagent and a temperature control unit 3 that controls the temperature of the temperature adjustment block 2, has a first opening 8 formed in the temperature adjustment block 2 and a pressing part 7 for inserting a temperature sensor 4 having a temperature measuring part 4a and a wire 4b so that the temperature measuring part 4a abuts against the temperature adjustment block 2 inside the first opening 8, wherein the temperature measuring part 4a and the wire 4b are pressed against the inner wall surface of the first opening 8 by the pressing part 7.
