Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a tent 10 that can be easily assembled and that has excellent living comfort for which a useful interior space 34 can be ensured, and a tent 10 assembly method. [Solution] A tent 10 comprising a frame structure 14 that extends radially from a center portion 12 downward, and a covering body 16 that is provided to cover the frame structure 14 from the top, wherein the tent 10 is characterized in that: the frame structure 14 radially extends downward so that the center portion 12 is formed by way of the ends 20 of no less than four poles 18 being connected to each other and a polygon on the same plane is formed by the other ends 22 of the no less than four poles 18; the covering body 16 has a size and shape that can be affixed to the no less than four poles 18 that constitute the radially extended shape of the frame structure 14, and the peripheral portion of the covering body 16 can be mounted to and removed from the no less than four poles 18; and a ring-shaped useful space 34 in the tent 10 that communicates with the space inside the tent 10 under a non-folded portion 32 of the covering body 16 is formed under a ring-shaped lower portion 30 of the covering body 16 by way of folding up the ring-shaped lower portion 30 of the covering body 16.
