This terminal-equipped electrical wire (X) comprises: a covered electrical wire (10) wherein a core wire (11) is covered by an insulation cover (12); a terminal (20) having a wire barrel (23) crimped onto the core wire (11) exposed at an end portion of the covered electrical wire (10); and an anti-corrosion agent (35) covering the perimeter of the crimped wire barrel (23) to be attached thereon. The wire barrel (23) adopts a shape wherein a pair of barrel pieces (23B) are formed so as to extend from two edges of a bottom plate. The core wire (11) is placed on the bottom plate in such a manner that the front end of the core wire (11) is held backward from the forward edge of the barrel piece (23B). The pair of barrel pieces (23B) are crimped into a shape where each of the barrel pieces (23B) is curved-around in such a manner as to hold the core wire (11) tightly while abutting one another at the respective extension end sides thereof. At a forward edge portion of the crimped wire barrel (23), a core wire checking opening portion (30) is formed by adopting a shape wherein the interval across which the butting portions from the pair of barrel pieces (23B) correspond to one another is widened.
