Abstract:
This terminalized wire (1) comprises a round terminal (5) that has a through-hole (5a) in the middle thereof and is integrally formed at the tip of a core wire (3) via resistance welding performed by running current between electrodes between which a tip section of the core wire (3) has been crimped, said tip section having been folded over so as to form a ring. When forming said round terminal (5), bosses (5b) are formed on the top and bottom surfaces thereof, said bosses (5a) being concentric with the aforementioned through-hole (5a). To mount and affix the round terminal (5) to an object (9), a male threaded section (11a) of a bolt (11) inserted through the through-hole (5a) is screwed into female threads in an attachment hole (9a) in said object (9), thereby fastening the round terminal (5) to the object (9). This makes the boss (5b) on the bottom surface of the round terminal (5) abut against the attachment surface (9b) of the object (9), preventing the contact area between the round terminal (5) and said attachment surface (9b) from varying.
