Title:
THERMAL IMAGE AUTHENTICATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/282274
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When providing content and services from a wearable device to the wearer thereof, the present invention performs biometric authentication and personal identification by collecting the body temperature distribution of part of the wearer's body in order to perform biometric authentication of the wearer. [Problem] To distinguish between a dummy object impersonating a face and the actual face of a living body and confirm whether a living body having a body temperature is wearing said wearable device. [Solution] A thermographic device for which illumination is not required when imaging part of a human body is provided to a wearable device (e.g., HMD), part of the wearer's body is imaged to obtain a thermal image (temperature distribution image information), and a physical or biological feature of a person is detected to perform biometric authentication.
