Abstract:
The present invention is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin composition for foam molding, which mainly contains a thermoplastic polyester elastomer (A) wherein a hard segment that is composed of a polyester which contains, as constituents, an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and an aliphatic and/or alicyclic diol component and a soft segment that is composed of an aliphatic polyether are bonded to each other, said thermoplastic polyester elastomer (A) being configured such that: the aromatic dicarboxylic acid component is composed of terephthalic acid (a1) and at least one dicarboxylic acid (a2) other than terephthalic acid; the ratio of the component (a2) in the whole aromatic dicarboxylic acid component is 0.1-50 mol%; and the content of the soft segment is 20-80% by mass. This thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin composition for foam molding is able to stably produce a foam molded body which has a light weight, high impact absorption, excellent heat resistance and excellent mechanical characteristics, while having a melt tension of 0.1-45 cN at a temperature that is higher than the melting point by 10°C.
