Abstract:
An endograft having a proximal end portion that that is curved to define an elbow or periscope configuration, to provide a more contiguous interface with the curvature of the aortic arch and thereby avoid stenosis and prevent embolism without creating streamlines that could cause the endograft to injure the underlying artery.
