The present invention increases whole-system processing performance accompanying synchronization processing. A thread processing system (100) allocates thread (0) to thread (2) to terminal device (103#0) to terminal device (103#2). As a result of allocation, the terminal device (103#2) that has high processing performance completes the thread (2) earlier, and after notifying the terminal device (103#0) of the execution results, enters a synchronization wait state. The terminal device (103#2) that has high processing performance completes the thread (1) later. The terminal device (103#0) sets the priority level to virtual shared memory (104) on the basis of the time that the execution results from each terminal device has been received. As a result, the terminal device (103#1) that has been set to a high priority level has a reduced thread (1) execution time, and as the synchronization wait time of the terminal device (103#2) executing thread (2) is reduced, it is possible to increase the processing performance of the processing system (100) overall.
