Abstract:
This three-dimensional encoding method: generates (S9141) a prediction value of attribute information about a target node in a N-ary tree structure (where N is an integer of 2 or greater) of a plurality of three-dimensional points included in point group data; and encodes (S9142) the attribute information about the target node by using the prediction value and a conversion process for hierarchically repeating and performing a calculation for dividing each of a plurality of input signals into a high-frequency component and a low-frequency component, wherein, in the generating (S9141) of the prediction value, a node among a plurality of first nodes, which include a mater node of the target node and belong to the same layer as the master node, is selected, the attribution information about which is to be used to generate the prediction value of the target node.
