Abstract:
Systems and methods for decoupling reference resource slots from timeline anchor slots within a CSI reporting window are provided. A high velocity user equipment (UE) receives multiple channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) occasions from a network unit. The UE predicts or interpolates precoders corresponding to reference resource slots. These reference resource slots are scheduled after the reporting slot. The reference resource slots are the closest valid downlink slot after the reporting slot. The UE then generates and transmits a CSI report based on the received CSI-RS occasions. The report may be a periodic or semi-persistent report.
