Abstract:
The invention relates to a timepiece comprising a watch movement that measures the time and a striking device (22) that is actuated by a mainspring (44) barrel (20) that is independent of the watch movement. The inventive timepiece also comprises mechanical control means that can be manually actuated in order to activate the striking device (22). Said timepiece is characterised in that the barrel (20) is wound by means of a winding stem (34), the free end of which ends in a toothed segment (32). The winding stem is kinematically connected to a winding button (24) at one end and to the mainspring (44) for said striking device (22) at the other end.
