Abstract:
The invention relates to a mechanically driven timepiece that has a non-circular movement and is combined with a chronograph mechanism comprising levers (5, 6, 10, 21) and a column wheel (4). All the levers (5, 6, 10, 21) of said chronograph mechanism are directly engaged with the column wheel (4) while being subjected to the pressure of return elastic elements in such a manner that all the displacements of the levers result from the step-by-step movement of the column wheel (4) actuated by a single control lever (1).
