Abstract:
A tire position recording system comprising an acceleration/deceleration determination unit (25) and a position determination unit (26). The acceleration/deceleration determination unit (25) determines the acceleration/deceleration of a vehicle. The position determination unit (26) is configured so as to associate a tire valve (4) ID and an axle (18) and determine the tire position of a plurality of tires (2), by: sending to each of a plurality of tire valves (4) radio signals including IDs for the tire valves (4) and data indicating that the tire valves (4) have reached a specified position on the rotational orbit of a tire (2); causing a receiver (12) to receive the radio signals; obtaining axle rotation information for a plurality of axles (18) when a tire valve (4) corresponding to the received radio signal has reached the specified position, each time a radio signal is received from a tire valve (4) by the receiver (12); and specifying the tire valve (4) ID for the tire (2) rotating in synchronization with the axle rotation information for each of the plurality of axles (18) on the basis of the radio signals and the axle rotation information for the plurality of axles (18). The position determination unit (26) determines the tire position on the basis of the determination results of the acceleration/deceleration determination unit (25).
