Abstract:

Provided is a superior quality titanium alloy powder, titanium alloy material and production method thereof that uses a powder method with titanium alloy scraps and titanium alloy ingots as raw material. Raw titanium alloy is hydrogenated to make hydrogenated titanium alloy, which is then pulverised and sieved. One or more of copper powder, chrome powder or iron powder are added to the acquired titanium alloy powder by dehydrogenation to acquire a titanium alloy compound powder, and a dense titanium alloy material is acquired by cold isostatic pressing (CIP) followed by hot isostatic pressing (HIP) or by encapsulation of the titanium alloy compound powder followed by the HIP process. In addition, titanium alloy compound powder and titanium alloy material are obtained by the disclosed production method.
