Abstract:
A TMO10 mode resonator, an oscillator and a transceiver having a high Q and suppressing radiation of electromagnetic field. Circular resonator electrodes (2A, 2B) are arranged oppositely on the surface (1A) and rear surface (1B) of a dielectric substrate (1) to form the TMO10 mode resonator (2). The dielectric substrate (1) is provided with a plurality of through holes (3) each with an electrode on the inner wall face (3A) omitted, along the circular resonator electrodes (2A, 2B) and open ends are formed by these through holes (3). Since an electromagnetic field formed in the dielectric substrate (1) can be totally reflected off the boundary between the through holes (3) and air, radiation of electromagnetic field can be suppressed.
