Abstract:
The present invention relates to a toothpaste composition containing a galenical extract comprising a grapefruit seed extract, a eucalyptus extract, a sage extract, an aloe extract, a chamomile extract, a green tea extract and a propolis extract. The composition comprising the galenical extract has an excellent antimicrobial effect on causative bacteria of tooth decay, periodontitis or halitosis. Thus, the composition containing the gelenical extract can be used not only as a toothpaste but also as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating tooth decay or periodontitis, and as a health functional food for preventing or ameliorating tooth decay, periodontitis, or halitosis.
