A train control method comprises: an automatic train protection system running in a vehicle onboard controller sends train running state information to an automatic train operation system in the vehicle onboard controller (101); receive train control information sent by the automatic train operation system (102), the train control information being obtained by performing computing according to the train running state information by the automatic train operation system; and send the train control information to a train, so that the train runs according to the train control information (103). Also provided are a train control system and a vehicle onboard controller.
