Abstract:

Transition metal complexes represented by the general formula (1); catalysts for olefin polymerization obtained by combining the transition metal complexes with organoaluminum compounds, aluminoxanes, or the like; polymerization catalysts further containing boron compounds in addition to the above components; and a process for the production of olefin polymers with the polymerization catalysts: (1) wherein M is a Group 6 element of the periodic table; A and A’ are each independently substituted or unsubstituted alkylene having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or the like; Y is substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or the like; X¹ and X² are each independently hydrogen, halogeno, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, amino disubstituted with C_1-20 hydrocarbyl, or the like; and n¹ is an integer of 0 to 3.
