Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a translation method and apparatus, a readable medium, and an electronic device. The method comprises: determining source text to be translated and a source associated image corresponding to the source text; and inputting the source text and the source associated image into a pre-generated target multi-modal translation model to obtain target translation text output by the target multi-modal translation model, wherein the target multi-modal translation model is a model generated after a pending multi-modal translation model is trained according to sample data, the sample data comprising at least two of multi-modal multilingual data, single-modal multilingual data, and multi-modal monolingual data, the multi-modal multilingual data comprising first source language text, first target language text, and a first image corresponding to the first source language text, the single-modal multilingual data comprising second source language text and second target language text, and the multi-modal monolingual data comprising third target language text and a second image.
