Abstract:
The present invention: provides a transparent electrode that combines conductivity with optical transparency; and improves the performance of an electronic device and an organic electroluminescence element. A transparent electrode (1) in which a nitrogen-containing layer (1a) and an electrode layer (1b) using silver or an alloy consisting primarily of silver are placed adjacent to each other. The compound constituting the nitrogen-containing layer (1a) satisfies formulas (1) and (2).
