Abstract:
The present invention relates to a treatment planning system, an automatic overlap inspection method, and a method for formulating a treatment plan. The treatment planning system comprises: an image processing module, for establishing an irradiated body model on the basis of medical image data, the irradiated body model comprising several voxel grids; a data processing module, for acquiring a beam source model and determining position parameters of the beam source model and the irradiated body model; an overlap detecting module, for selecting a reference object from the several voxel grids, determining whether the reference object overlaps with the beam source model according to a position relationship between the reference object and the beam source model, and adjusting the position parameters until the reference object does not overlap with the beam source model; and a treatment plan generating module, for generating a treatment plan on the basis of the adjusted position parameters. The present invention not only can automatically determine whether a collimator overlaps with the tissue of a patient and check whether a treatment plan will cause a collision of the collimator with the tissue of the patient during position arrangement, but also can correct a radiotherapy plan more quickly, and can automatically generate a corresponding treatment plan.
