Abstract:
The present invention maintains high tube pullout strength and airtightness without need for retightening of the fastening band regardless of creep or stress relaxation of the tube over time. When a nipple (B) is inserted into a tube (C) and a fastening band (1) is installed so as to clamp a sleeve (2) and an elastic ring (3) on the outside thereof, tightening the fastening band (1) and reducing the diameters of the sleeve (2) and the elastic ring (3) press the inner surface (3a) of the elastic ring (3) against the outer surface (C1) of the tube (C), compressing the elastic ring (3) itself and the outer surface (C1) of the tube (C). At the same time, the portion of the outer surface (C1) of the tube (C) that is compressed bulges toward and fits into a recessed stepped part (3b) of the elastic ring (3). By the bulging area (C3) being hooked in the recessed stepped part (3b), the tube (C) as a whole is held so as to be incapable of moving in the axial direction thereof and pullout is prevented. Even if creep and stress relaxation occurs due to temporal changes and the portion of tube (C) that is pressed against the elastic ring (3) warps, reducing the thickness dimension while decreasing impact resilience, the elastic ring (3) maintains impact resilience and the hooking of the bulging area (C3) in the recessed stepped part (3b) is maintained.
