Abstract:
Disclosed is an umbrella having a new structure. The umbrella comprises: an umbrella shaft in the form of a long pole; a flange provided at an upper end area of the umbrella shaft; umbrella ribs including sliding rails of which the upper end portion is supported on a soft region of the flange so as to be rotatable in a tangential direction, and fabric supporters of which both ends are connected to at least a partial section of the sliding rails; and a slider which includes a lifting shaft hole through which the umbrella shaft passes and a sliding guide part which is capable of lifting movement along the umbrella shaft and is engaged with the sliding rails, wherein the slider rotates the umbrella ribs to be unfolded and folded by interlocking with the lifting movement.
