The present invention relates to a use of cyclo His-Pro (CHP) for preventing, alleviating or treating peritoneal fibrosis and, more specifically, to: a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating peritoneal fibrosis, a dietary supplement composition for preventing or alleviating peritoneal fibrosis, and a peritoneal dialysis solution, which all contain CHP; a method for preventing or treating peritoneal fibrosis by using CHP; a peritoneal dialysis method using CHP; a use of CHP during the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating peritoneal fibrosis; and/or a use of CHP during the preparation of a peritoneal dialysis solution.
