A user authentication method and a user authentication device using a display device are disclosed, wherein the user authentication method is performed in a device for providing a display, comprising: assigning different depths to individual keys; and allowing a user to move a desired individual key to be inputted to an indicator and to input the individual key moved to the indicator, to the device.
