Abstract:

An on-vehicle image display unit capable of allowing crew to recognize and predict the current and next operations of the vehicle while at the same time allowing them to watch and listen to images in the vehicle, thus reducing loads on the crew. An image controlling means (13) in the on-vehicle image display unit controls, according to traveling conditions, such as right/left turn and acceleration/deceleration, detected by a traveling condition detecting means (12), a display position on an image displaying means (14) of an image produced by an image producing means (11) so as to, for example, shift to the left direction when a left turn is detected and shift to the right direction when a right turn is detected.
