The present invention relates to the technical field of vehicle-mounted smart networking. Disclosed are a vehicle-mounted fault smart reminder system and method, a device, and a storage medium, comprising an instrument cluster, a head unit, a cloud platform, a remote communication terminal, and a gateway. The instrument cluster is configured to display fault information and transmit the fault information to the heat unit by means of an LVDS; the heat unit receives the fault information from the instrument cluster, transmits the fault information to the cloud platform by means of the gateway and the Tbox for processing, and displays the fault information and a push suggestion to a user; the cloud platform is configured to process information from a vehicle end, interpret the fault information, and pushes a processing suggestion; the remote communication terminal provides a network link for the system; the gateway performs routing and forwarding of a signal. The system can vividly display the vehicle fault information, facilitating understanding of the user for the fault information and optimizing user experience. Thus, more fault items can be reminded in a timely fashion, so that a driver can comprehensively know vehicle conditions, and the driving safety is improved.
