Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle-mounted system (1) comprising: a first detection part (15C2) for using an image in which the periphery of a vehicle (V) is captured so as to detect an illumination state of another vehicle; a second detection part (15C3) for detecting a traffic situation of the vehicle (V); an estimation part (15C4) for estimating the intention of a sign from the other vehicle on the basis of the illumination state of the other vehicle having been detected by the first detection part (15C2) and the traffic situation of the vehicle (V) having been detected by the second detection part (15C3); and operation parts (15C5, 15C6) for carrying out a process that is in accordance with the intention of the sign from the other vehicle having been estimated by the estimation part (15C4). As a result of this configuration, the vehicle-mounted system (1) achieves the effect of making it possible to obviate the necessity to carry out communication with another vehicle to verify a sign from the other vehicle.
