Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle seat that appropriately absorbs an impact on a seated person caused when an impact, such as a collision, occurs, without increasing the size of a seat cushion. A vehicle seat (S) includes a seat cushion (S1). The seat cushion (S1) includes a seat cushion frame (F1), a seat cushion pad (S1) placed on the seat cushion frame (F1), an impact absorbing member (20) provided below the seat cushion pad (S11), and an airbag (30) stored in a storage recess (21) formed in the impact absorbing member (20). The impact absorbing member (20) is supported from below by a pan frame (12), serving as a support member. The impact absorbing member (20) is configured so as to be more easily deformed than the pan frame (12).
