Abstract:
A vehicle having a cell pack (2) mounted in a passenger compartment, wherein the cell pack (2) is installed in a bottom space spanning underneath both of two seats (4) aligned in a vehicle width direction via a console (3), the portion of the cell pack (2) located between the seats (4) is surrounded via a gap (5) by a fixing member (1) for fixing the console (3) to a floor surface (6) in the passenger compartment, and the gap (5) is large enough that the fixing member (1) does not press against the cell pack (2) even if the fixing member (1) deforms from being unable to withstand external force borne during a vehicle collision. Because this vehicle does not require specialized components in order to protect the cell pack (2), costs can be minimized, the increase of the vehicle body weight can be suppressed, and as a result, the fuel consumption performance and operational performance of the vehicle can be improved.
