Abstract:
The present invention provides a viscous composition which contains a water-soluble copolymer containing a carboxyl group, and which has good viscosity even if an amino acid-based surfactant is blended in an amount that is not less than the amount of betaine. More specifically, the present invention provides a viscous composition which contains (A) a copolymer that is obtained by polymerizing at least 100 parts by mass of a (meth)acrylic acid and 0.5-5 parts by mass of a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester having an alkyl group with 10-30 carbon atoms, (B) an amino acid-based surfactant, (C) betaine, (D) an alkylglycoside and (E) an organic acid salt, and which is configured such that the mass content of the component (B) is not less than the mass content of the component (C).
