Abstract:
A simple VoIP terminal capable of performing facsimile communication and having no H323D function, and a communication method thereof. Whether or not a CNG signal is transmitted after a call request of a facsimile&sol telephone terminal (12) is judged. If the CNG signal is detected, a CODEC list is prepared by selecting only G.711 from audio CODECs equipped in advance, and included in the call request to the party and transmitted thereto.
