Abstract:
A washing machine (1), the washing machine (1) comprising: an image recognition unit (7), which recognizes images of a washing bucket (1b) and of areas in the vicinity thereof; a moving object sensing unit (8), which senses the washing bucket (1b) and moving objects in the vicinity thereof according to a plurality of images having different recognition times which are recognized by means of the image recognition unit (7); and a control unit (1g), which changes operation control according to the presence or absence of a moving object sensed by means of the moving object sensing unit (8) or the amount of movement of the moving object. The washing machine (1) enables more precise control, shorter operation time, and more accurate abnormality sensing by means of correctly recognizing the state of laundry.
